As I sit here this morning there is definitely a feeling of Spring in the air, unlike last February when the ‘beast from the east’ was banging on the door, although I know March and even April have seen some very cold days so I’m not hanging up my winter clothes just yet and expect some cold days ahead.
We have been extremely busy here at Leger and Oaks, launching our new Spanish boots, which is very exciting for us, we have put together a small range of classic style riding boots in a few selected colours and designs, all made traditionally in a small factory based near Seville in Southern Spain, we are hoping to add new colours and styles to the range later this year and keep a larger stock here in England for a faster delivery to our customers. Our wider width hunting boots in classic chestnut, waxed leather are proving popular, so keep checking back to see the latest colours and designs of these classic leather boots. We have also brought new colours out in our best sellers of capes and wraps, and added a range of ‘Ready to Wear’ tweed, waxed cotton and fleece shooting and country style jackets, gilets and waistcoats, these are competitively priced and as most of our garments, made here in the U.K.
We are now getting ready for the ‘big week’ of the racing year mid March ‘The Cheltenham Festival’ and during the build up to the busy week offering up to 20% off many of our best sellers of Capes and Wraps, so check out the website and don't miss out on the promotions available. Our two horses haven't been doing much this Winter, our mare has been on her winter holidays but now back in training and ‘our boy’ who should have been out on the course last few months suffered a setback but recovering well so as always we are hopeful for lots of fun with them both and some enjoyable racing coming up this Spring and Summer, so a busy few months ahead!
