What a lovely week it is here in The Cotswolds, long may it continue! As always we have had a busy time here at Leger and Oaks , now into our second year of trading, we were delighted to see lots of lovely faces at the Cheltenham festival back in March wearing our wraps and capes, and our customer base continues to build online we have also been selling to Europe and the U.S the power of the internet really can expand a small local business to be worldwide which we can’t be thankful enough for. We are also looking to book a few events and shows for later this summer and through to the Autumn so will be out and about chatting to customers which will are looking forward to.

Our tweed and wool range of capes and wraps continues to expand and we have brought out some new Spring colours in the classic Windsor wrap alongside our best sellers from last season, it always annoys me when companies discontinue a colour or range that is a best seller and clearly a good colour and design, so we will continue with our fur trimmed St Moritz cape and Cheltenham wrap in the classic tan tweed check now and for next year. We have a couple of new colours in the Chelsea cape; a take on the boating blazer in a lovely pink and blue Henley stripe and a classic French blue twill, as well as our popular lambs wool herringbone tweed in pink and blue all can be dressed up or down, we have also shortened them slightly so they look perfect with our Newmarket skirt.
The new casual range we launched last month has been flying out, the tees, sweatshirts and hoodies are proving really popular, understated with our racing logo, in classic simple colours which can be worn with everything, we will definitely be expanding this range and bringing new colours out in the upcoming months. We have promoted the casual range on social media and have our new brand ambassadors on board who are all doing an amazing job to help spread the word of Leger and Oaks. If you think you be perfect as a brand ambassador and are active on social media regularly please do contact me as we are always looking for new faces, we offer an excellent discount which grows as you reach out to your followers and friends.

We haven't been racing much this Spring since the Cheltenham Festival, sadly both horses have been injured, so our hopes of a good summer season with our mare were put to bed as she has been on box rest for the last 6 weeks, but she has been a good patient and enjoying the view from the stable when the others are off to work! We are hopeful for a full recovery for them both, our boy is back in training after a winter of recovery and rest so fingers crossed he will be back on the course soon. We will be off to Royal Ascot next month and Goodwood later in the summer and no doubt a few meetings in between so lots of first class horses and racing to look forward to coming up this Summer.
