Based in the heart of the Cotswolds, here at Leger & Oaks we are passionate about creating country style tweed fashion that is luxurious whilst still being individual and stylish. Many of our garments are the perfect complete outfit for a day at the races for an understated, individual, elegant look.
With an interior design background Claudia, Leger and Oaks proprietor and designer, saw an opening in the market for luxury tweed clothing but with a equestrian contemporary twist, and has put a range together of outerwear and jackets sourcing the best quality tweed, tartan and wool fabrics from the mills of Yorkshire and Scotland. With many years experience working with quality fabrics, Claudia understands how each fabric should hang when worn; all our wraps and capes are tailored and cut to give a beautiful feminine line and all are manufactured here in England.
We have also sourced a selection of tailored jackets and coats, hats, bags, country pins, scarves, cashmere knitwear and throws to complement our tweed and fur range, wherever possible made and manufactured in the UK, although our knitwear and leather bags are all made in Italy. We are constantly looking ahead, designing and sourcing new garments and accessories with lots of exciting new styles being added regularly.
Claudia and her family's passion for horses has developed over the years, owning many, from New Forest ponies to Thoroughbred racehorses. They often visit many of the race courses around the country cheering on their horses, always hopeful to be in the winning enclosure, and always dressed for the occasion!
