Summer Sun and Glorious Goodwood

Glorious Goodwood

What a fantastic summer we are having, the tweeds have definitely been in hibernation last few months, and summer dresses and sandals are being seen everywhere. July has been rather quiet for racing for us, our mare hasn't been able to race as the fast ground does not suit her, she needs rain, so we haven't been to much racing since her spectacular win at Doncaster and then a good second over hurdles last month, so although we love the sun, a little more rain will be good to get her out on the racecourse!

We are off to Glorious Goodwood this week one of the highlights of the flat racing season which is always an excuse to get dressed up, although not as formal as Ascot but still lots of people watching and a chance to see the flowing tea dresses, linen suits and acres of Panama hats on show and to watch my favourite race on Saturday the six furlong Cavalry charge of the Stewards Cup thundering down the Goodwood straight, which is the perfect end to a glorious week.

Then back to work next week with the photo shoot for our new season collection which will be available to buy online soon, exciting weeks ahead.....
